For my first try, here’s my question: If you could change the ending of any movie, which one would you pick and what would you change?

If I could change the ending of anything, it would absolutely be the final season of Game of Thrones. The build-up over seven seasons was nothing short of phenomenal—rich, complex characters, intricate storylines, and masterful world-building that captured the imagination of millions. But then came the last season, and it felt like watching all that incredible groundwork being undone in a rush to wrap things up.

For me, the most frustrating part was how many character arcs were disregarded or poorly resolved. Take Daenerys, for instance—her transformation from a liberator to the “Mad Queen” was so abrupt it felt unearned, especially after years of showing her struggle to balance power and compassion. Similarly, Jon Snow’s arc seemed to fade into nothing, and Bran being chosen as king felt out of place given his detachment from humanity throughout the series.

I would have loved an ending that gave each character the conclusion they deserved—one that honored their growth, flaws, and contributions to the story. Imagine a finale where alliances truly shifted, betrayals hit harder, and the Iron Throne’s fate felt more organic to the story. Perhaps even an ending that left the power fragmented across the kingdoms, reflecting the show’s earlier themes of moral complexity and the consequences of ambition.

It’s no wonder so many of us signed that petition to remake the last season—I’d sign it a hundred times over! Game of Thrones deserved better, and so did we as viewers.
