Do you believe true altruism exists? Are humans innately self-serving or do you believe that, as social animals, it is within our nature to distribute compassion unconditionally? What did you have for breakfast today?
Human nature is neither black nor white, neither pure good nor pure evil. To be human is to be a flawed masterpiece from the start. Some people may be morally different shades of grey, or even more of a charcoal— or an off-white, but they can never be completely evil. I suppose the same goes for good. One cannot be completely, truly good, because then it would imply something other than humanity, I suppose. I am aware that my point of view may not be the best, but it is how I think.
Also, I’m about to make a protein shake.
