on a different/more serious note, one of my online best friends bought me an akechi figure for my birthday this past year! akechi is my fave from p5 so it's one of my most treasured things LOL

The presents I get on my birthday are always a pleasant surprise, and I'm sure whatever my siblings get me for Christmas will be good as well
A more specific surprise would be when I logged onto Discord for the first time that day to a dm from my best friend with an illustration he made of chocolate cake, it was the only gift from an online friend I got for my birthday this year and it made me very happy

like 4 years ago in december 2020 i wanted a nintendo switch (the animal crossing new horizons design one) for christmas So i asked for it and mom said "its out of stock we cant get that one", and i was sad but she was LYING !!!!!!!!! i got a nintendo switch anyway (its a bit ironic i got the animal crossing switch but didnt buy animal crossing new horizons until january 2021 though)

When dad got me a digital camera for my birthday back when I was very into photography. I've always sucked at takinb shots of people but very good at shots of landscapes, and the week after that we went to Doñana national park and I took a lot of photos of the wildlife...and I'm also very into biology (well, to be fair, I'm pretty into any kind of science)

Splatoon 3 from my dad (it came out of fucking nowhere, I didn't even mention it to him and yet he bought it around the time of its release HELP)
