currently its probably boothill. ever since his design first got leaked (which i think was last year? before penacony came out) i've been a big fan of him. i dont claim to be his #1 fan nor do i yume him or anything like that, but i REALLY like the funny cowboy man.

Yoo Joonghyuk. (Ramble ahead I don't know what happened while I was writing this)

He is the protagonist of the novel Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse (Also known as TWSA) in the novel Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, as well as being the secondary protagonist next to Kim Dokja in ORV
How do I explain it, as someone who's kin with Kim Dokja I sort of naturally started to feel a pull towards him? Like "Oh, he's kind of cool actually", and as I started to read more and as it was revealed why Kim Dokja likes Yoo Joonghyuk and TWSA so much I started liking him more, not just for his looks but I will admit Yoo Joonghyuk has some very pretty panels that I totally do not have screenshotted in a folder with only 178 images of him and I definitely didn't use one of them on this answer nooo, but for his personality as well, as cliché as that sounds, it's the fact that despite showing hatred towards his companions (Mainly Kim Dokja) he obviously still trusts and cares for them and is willing to protect them (Mainly Kim Dokja), though he may not admit it
There were times where he said he'd kill Kim Dokja, and there were times he could, he never did. There were times where Kim Dokja asked Yoo Joonghyuk to help him sacrifice himself, and he hesitated, not wanting to have to have another funeral for him. There were times where Yoo Joonghyuk saved Kim Dokja, one of those times was when Kim Dokja was much younger, having a hard life and turning to the novel TWSA for comfort, as an escape. Just his mere existence in a novel nobody but Kim Dokja reads was enough for Kim Dokja to continue on, and his mere existence in a novel with Kim Dokja, with moments I want to laugh, and cry, and talk about, is enough for me to continue on as well, and love him
TLDR I like Yoo Joonghyuk because of his character and the role he played in both Kim Dokja's and my life, did that make any sense, I hope it did

my typical answer is Data, from Star Trek: The Next Generation, but I've gotten a little tired of talking about him...

though someone who's been rapidly rocketing up my list of favorite characters (or favorite Star Trek characters, at least) is T'Lyn! she's the sweetest Vulcan there is, using logic and science to deepen her friendships and thinking less rigidly than most Vulcans. the current season of Lower Decks makes her into a full-fledged member of the main cast and it's giving her so many great character moments. I didn't think I could like her any more than I already did going into the latest episode, "Fully Dilated", but that ended up being one of the best episodes of the series, with plenty of great moments for her!
