TL;DR: A song made in FastTracker 2 where the noise sample is...FastTracker 2 itself (the .exe is being read as audio) and has a part (actually 2 but ehh) where it's just the noise playing

I personally think it might also fit well for a sandbox game where you build stuff (like Minecraft in Creative mode if you get what I mean)

Any song from the album Doppelganger by The Fall of Troy. AMAZING post-hardcore math-y shit but it's just too weird. Any math metal or math metal adjacent song really would be too weird for me to confidently recommend... Math rock maybe, but probably not, either...

Most likely OST's from Signalis, the constant shift of eeriness then into angelicum before diving into radio-like phonk is wild. With all of those in mind, this genree only appeals to a certain group of people, none of which I know of.

devo's hardcore devo vol 1 nd vol 2 albums,?.??.,.., dgmw i like quite a few of songs such as 37, fraulein, i need a chick, i'm a potato nd space girl blues.,,,., the songs on the albums are only rough demos so they don't sound AS GOOD as devo's finished songs,. like they sound really weird nd not polsihed like the final songs (cough cough u got me bugged from hardcore devo vol 2) nd a lot of the songs kinda have weird subject matter,.,. also the album covers for them lmao.,!.!!!

i have so many vocaloid songs in my playlist i avoid saying to people because of sensitive topics they handle SO A LOT........ i wont specify which ones though (because. Well. they address sensitive topics so obviously its bound to trigger somebody and i dont wanna do that just to say a song i like + neo pring doesnt let you add a warning when you answer questions for whatever reason)

It's less about the genre of the song and more abt the lyrics being a bit odd, or could be hitting too close to home for those who are troubled by anxiety, paranoia or something related/adjacent.

Also the origins of this song come from a somewhat niche game; Psychopomp. I'll go into context below, so don't read any further if you might not be in the right headspace.

The lyrics are a bit incoherent, but the theme comes off as some type of social anxiety and/or paranoia. It gave me an idea of what kind of character Mercury was supposed to be (probably insecure and defensive). The outro is full of panicked phrases being overlapped like a messy intrusive thought spiral.

I would like to meet someone to whom I could confidently recommend Autechre's elyc6 0nset. 28 minutes of atonal noises that sound like the buzzing and chittering of bugs from an alien planet.

The VT Experiments' entire discography, particularly Ego Trip, Narcissus in Bloom, & Mania to name a few of my favourites. I adore playing music like this in the background when I want sound: a stimulant without words to catch me off my focus, but not as soothing as Larger Than Life classical music.
