Anybody got a favorite anime opening/ending they wanna rant about? Kind of a specific question since I doubt many people listen to or even watch anime intros & just skip to the actual episode parts

Never been big on anime with a small rare few exceptions. Especially the couple I saw during my childhood. Most of the openings for anime in general are pretty great I’ve noticed though! My personal favorite has to be the Yugioh opening in short terms it’s pretty awesome and would always hype me up to watch it as a kid and even now. I also enjoy the Pokémon openings especially the Black & White one. Always brings a smile to my face to listen to it.
Anybody got a favorite skibidi ohio/sigma they wanna get silly about? kind of a specific question since I doubt many alphas listen to or even watch skibidi rizzlers and just skip to the actual sigmas
On the contrary, I think most people love anime openings and endings, and I'm the exception for being very mixed on them. The visuals are usually well-detailed representations of the show, but J-Pop is a really inconsistent genre for me, I either love it or I despise it. I'm not much of an otaku in the first place anyway, most of the anime and manga I've consumed were as an outgrowth of some other interest (like sci-fi, or video games).
Been a while since I last watched anime, but I think my favorite opening might have been Cowboy Bebop's. The uptempo jazz, the silhouettes of all the characters and their signature weapons, the really cool transitions, it's all very close to perfect.
Heh, my time to shine. (Do keep in mind that my KnB hyperfix ended late last year so I might misremember certain things as it’s been a while since I rewatched KnB. I won’t be rambling about the stuff in anime ops or eds since I can’t really remember those but I will ramble about things related to them)
ZERO by Ono Kensho is the sixth opening of the anime Kuroko no Basuke, being the opening of the two or so Teiko Arc episodes in season three (Similar to Ao no Sumika being the JJK season two opening on the three Hidden Inventory Arc episodes), it’s the first KnB opening not performed by GRANRODEO
It’s said that ZERO and Ambivalence (The ed of the Teiko Arc) are meant to represent Kuroko and Ogiwara’s friendship during their elementary and middle school days and that Ambivalence is defined as "the state of having mixed feelings or contradictory ideas about something or someone"
Kuroko is the main character of KnB (Which is probably obvious by the name), he’s voiced by Ono Kensho, the singer of ZERO, and Ogiwara (Kuroko’s friend he used to play basketball with in 5th grade) is voiced by Yu Hayashi, the singer of Ambivalence
I love KnB man, when I found out that ZERO was by Ono Kensho I freaked out because the op is played over moments of the Generation of Miracles (Teiko’s and maybe even Japan’s best basketball players ((In universe)) playing together and it just hits hard when you know what happened to them, I miss you GoM. THE LYRICS OF ZERO AND AMBIVALENCE I’M GOING TO CRY KnB still makes me ill even a year later and I still feel like Kuroko even a year later, permashift curse be upon ya
And that’s the end of another of my rambles thanks
