(ok idk how to link 😭) honestly I get rosins blaming wk1 but it's not only wk1 but the the whole industry would prioritise korean idols first then the chinese idols obvsly, I'm not sure if this works for hao case but while stanning ningning too I saw a post abt someone who have worked in the industry (I don't remember exactly) have said how chinese idols got to choose between one, like example if they got three offers they only get to choose one

Without giving away everything 😭 it hits close to home. I can see that and like you said it’s not just the company it does seem to be a deep rooted industry problem where they will receive less offers simply for being Chinese. Ultimately in spaces where you are the minority you have to work just as hard to be seen as equal and I guess not just in kr it’s like that worldwide imo but it’s really horrible because then you have extremely competent people who aren’t valued as they should be.

This is a situation SM and their past chinese Idols created. Sure, not everybody is the same but it is proven that chinese Idols tend to "ditch" the K-Industry once they have enough fans in China through their Kpop promotions. Its also not the chinese Idols fault for choosing a work enviornment that feels more at home due to many reasons (and that also pays WAAAY better). It is what it is. They dont have the same issues with Japanese Idols who are popular. Japanese Idols love working in Korea since Japans Entertainment Industry is literal shit.
