yes i do believe thats why they do that, also, never knew that! i thought the names were global, with diff languages naming ofc ykwim

oh i see, is that why some calendars put sunday first instead of monday? i also heard in some cultures people don't name it in the honor of the sun... some languages just use numbers or something else
