Honestly I don’t. My opinion on her writing is that it’s extremely weak and should have been unpublishable. But I’m not talking about my opinion here, I’m talking in a more objective sense about her presence in the world of writing and what that means. That’s why I’m not, within the argument, denouncing her for her atrocious shittiness (although I do think what she did w regards to her son is fucking terrible). I’m making an argument about something to do with her written work in a broder spectrum of how we treat art and that’s it.
