🌺 and 💕
You all keep asking for dad jokes I am running out 🌺) What smells better than it tastes? A nose. 💕) Uhm, uhm, I've suddenly forgotten everything I'm interested in. Linguistics (sort of). So despite both German and English being Germanic languages (basically evolving from the same language / group of languages), it's actually romance languages (Spanish, French, Dutch) that are considered to be easier for a native English speaker to learn, despite them being from a different linguistic group. ALSO, Scots and Scottish Gaelic are two different languages (though Scots is often considered just a dialect of English), but when the Normans were in control of England, the languages they knew were known as French, English, and Scottish, which we now know as Norman French, Scots, and Gaelic
OOO THANK U FOR THE SCOT AND SCOTTISH FACT
