Hello my currently quite small following I’ve had the idea to use one of my accounts to post self-promos people would send in to me and have it be a hub to find people with similar interests on here, with negativity already filtered out. Thoughts?
It's generally a good idea but I've seen someone on rs operate something similar to this and from what I've seen they've been berated for promoting people some others don't like . . But in the end its ur decision and I can't stop u from doing what u wish to do so I'd say sure if you can handle people being annoying flies in the inbox about promoting someone that someone else doesn't like
Tldr: seen someone operate something similar, they got tired of all the shit in their inbox so it got deleted but if u can endure the amount of stupid shit people throw around sure ^.^
well thank you for letting me know, I didn’t know someone had done it before, must have been after I left. I still think it’s worth a shot to me! I would only take down promos after they’ve been posted if it was brought to my attention the person was genuinely bad and not just involved in some sort of drama… I’m sure some people would whine about that too, but then they get blocked and miss out on the whole thing, so I think it works out
