That makes sense, and also I know Japan has had a history of adding trans characters into their media!! Though usually the character has to abide to the gender role they transitioned to, if I remembered correctly from a video discussing this topic

YES!! mizuki is pretty good rep, i see alot of people say "well she isnt ACTUALLY trans bcs its jusr implied!" but i think heavy implication = canon always.. esp when it comes to implications like that
