sigh... dr ratio wasn't accepted into the genius society because he's not as selfish as the rest. while the geniuses tend to keep their knowledge to themselves, ratio's goal is to spread his knowledge as vastly as possible, which is why i admire him. he considers himself an ordinary person (calling himself a mundanite, meaning ordinary) though to me he is a great human being and my words elude me when i speak about him... i hc him as self-destructive and emotionally vulnerable at times because in his lore he realized he'd never be accepted into the genius society and i think that really affected him because in his interactions with screwllum (member #76 of the genius society) you can hear how candid and straightforward he is and i think he spoke to screwllum with a hint of jealousy in his voice that he might not even realize. while i am not necessarily a fan of screwtio (screwllum x ratio) i think the dynamic is interesting. i have more to say but i'm at 987 characters lol

ok idk where to start... i'll begin with a general overview. he is the akademiya's scribe and a member of the haravatat (one of the six main schools in the akademiya that specialize in semiotics). he's responsible for documenting things like the akademiya's findings and stuff. he values the pursuit of knowledge and hates meaningless things that distract him. he generally focuses on himself (not in a way that disregards others). his beliefs consist of things like "it is impossible to save everyone" and he is a very rational person. he and his roommate, kaveh, often have disagreements as a result of his personality because they both have different ideals and opinions and sentiments. alhaitham doesn't look down on anyone or put them on a pedestal, rather seeing them equally. i hc him as autistic (because i'm totally not projecting!) because of his noise sensitivity, his interest in knowledge (i consider it his special interest), the way he views the world, etc.. i'm at character limit...

uhh off the top of my head, AUTISTIC (obviously), not very talkative likes to show things through actions, either the most random sleep schedule or the strictest one, bisexual!!! would apologize without actually saying an apology after an argument, definitely would listen to older music without lyrics if he ever decided to listen to music (but he likes silence so probably not), would remind teachers that there's homework, if he has glasses, would only wear them when reading (so like 75% of the time), not much of a rambler more of a listener
