well, that really depends on what worth it means to you! get ready for a like 2184 character response. :)

1. do you like playing live service games? do you like playing gacha games? if the answer is no then don't try wuwa. you will probably not enjoy it.

2. are you in it for the gameplay primarily ( skip to 3 ) or for the story and narrative primarily (skip to 4) ? or do you want both equally (read both 3 and 4) ?

3. wuwa is an open world action game where you run around and open treasure chests and do quests and fight bosses and stuff. personally i think it's quite fun.

3A. do you like genshin from a gameplay perspective? you will probably have fun with wuwa.

3B. do you dislike genshin from a gameplay perspective because open world exploration is kind of boring? i wouldn't recommend wuwa.

3C. do you dislike genshin from a gameplay perspective because you have small problems with it (climbing is boring, running around isnt fun without characters that have sick movement abilities, etc)? you'll probably have fun with wuwa. there's a grappling hook that you can use mid air and an air strafe and you can run up walls instead of climbing.

4A. if you're in it for the story primarily then I don't have a TON to say. i've enjoyed the bits of story we've gotten so far but there has not been a lot of it and it's hard to judge the direction the game is gonna go.

4B. if you're in it for character interactions well. it's complicated. a lot of the character story stuff they've added since launch is just like, characters interacting with rover (the mc) only. so if you like rover talking to people you will probably enjoy this. but personally i would like to see more of other characters talking to each other and not about rover.

also of note: lumi is not obtainable yet. she'll be a rate up lightning 4 star char in the second half of this patch (2 weeks and a few days from now) along with two limited 5 stars. Yinlin is one of those and she'll be pretty good to play with lumi theoretically because one of yinlins skills buffs lightning damage for the next char in your party. so if you do pick the game up i'd recommend rolling on yinlin's banner over xiangli yao
