piece of media that changed the trajectory of your life?
Artist Career: A Cartoon Network show from the early 2010's was definitely the biggest inspiration for my aspiration to become a visual artist rather than a musician. I had always been drawn to graphic art, but thanks to a 2000's live action show I watched, I wanted to be a musician instead as a young child. But this cartoon basically changed my career trajectory into something I'm much happier with and more spirited about thanks to my love of the characters and the art style. (It's unfortunate that I resent both the show and its fandom now, and especially its art style. I'll still give it anonymous gratitude despite wanting nothing else to do it with it.)
Finding My Own Style: I can thank the Five Nights at Freddy's fandom for providing my initial inspiration to discover my own style. I loved all the FNaF fanart so much that it made me not only want to make my own but also to create in similar styles to the fanartists I loved.
