It's about these humanoid gems known as the lustrous living in a world devoid of humans ! We follow the main character Phosphophyllite, a lazy carefree and more often than not bratty gem, and their journey to find a job for their fellow gem CInnabar who's unable to work beside the rest of the Lustrous due to the poisonous mercury that they produce !
