It was efficiency still, really…at least that’s the lie he told himself. Why need to pause a surgery when he could simply turn and grunt? Why stop a cart push when he could squat behind it and finish his business? Surely he was saving so much time. But it became apparent that his body was more than happy to acquaint itself to this freedom. Forgetting when he wasn’t wearing the soft padding, the man almost had a few accidents, simply sighing and going to urinate before catching himself and having to sprint to the bathroom. That certainly wasn’t efficient…so instead of wasting more time on undoing his work, he just decided to wear more often. That was fine, it was efficiency. He certainly didn’t like the security it gave, knowing he’d never have an accident on the field again, or even that warmth against his intimates.

Soon enough though, his efficiency ran out. Waking up to soaked bedsheets when you need your 8 hours is not very efficient, neither is praying no one will catch you bringing your piss soaked bedding to the laundry room in the middle of the night. Even worse, the pleasure of warmth and security on his crotch became more alluring than the warmth and security of his own hand on the rare occasion he would get off.

Efficiency. Surely there was something efficient about unpotty training yourself, and if that were the case, surely there was something even more efficient about not needing to masturbate with your hand.
