What is love?
The reason why we still exist
i'd love to see your comic! :)
Awww ;; It‘s more a collection of thoughts and drawings than an actual comic but maybe i can show you in private if you send me a dm at bluesky or telegram?
Feel free to not answer (I understand one would rather keep that to oneself on the internet), but what is your political affiliation?
I‘m probably as center as can probably be - but yeah i‘d rather keep a more detailed answer in private or in a private conversation!
What are your thoughts about Death Metal?
I don‘t have much feelings about it tbh… i don‘t listen to it but people who do usually dress and behave pretty cool haha. I don‘t know anything about it though
least favorite gender?
What kind of question is this 😂 i like both!
thoughts on cannibalism?
omg haha what a question! i've watched some documentaries / read books about old tribes which did or do eat other humans as a part of their culture. in that scenario i guess it just is what it is, i'll never be able to understand such cultures which are so completely different than mine.
if in a modern setting, like with the hannibal lecter TV series for example: i really f*cking hate it. it disgusts me to death. there's nothing i hate more than zombies with all their brain eating and rotting and corpses and brrrrrrr god damn i will never in my life understand what's appealing to that...
...what are your feeling when you draw your sona standing/walking on micros? ^^'
„Ahhh i feel so sorry for them… why can‘t they get out of her way anyways??? Like she’s huge!!! Fox doesn‘t want to hurt anyone but why aren‘t these micros moving????“
Ideal weekend?
Getting up early, hiking or biking (or both) , getting home at 12-13 pm, having a shower, cooking and eating a nice lunch, chill in the garden or on the couch the rest of the day reading, playing videogames, drawing
What do you like about macro?
That‘s an excellenct question i asked myself too already hahah
I think it‘s the power dynamic behind it. IRL i‘m rather small and people tend to not take small women as serious sometimes. Maybe that‘s why my brain likes to imagine it being different sometimes and it happens to show with me liking to draw my fursona biiiiig. (But still nice. She‘s a sweet macro, maybe just a bit clumsy…not used to the height..)
Are you in a relationship atm?
Yes! I‘m with my wonderful man since april 2017
How did you come to terms with your identity?
Giving myself lots of time when the brain was growing up. It’s pretty common for teenagers to be confused about themselves, but the knowledge about that was enlightening to me… Talking to my parents, therapy, lots of self reflection and deleting my social media accounts was, what made the positive change possible though. And still is x)
This is a genuine question: some of your posts make it seem like your kind of annoyed by genderqueer topics. Did you have any bad experiences with genderqueer people in the past? Or do you find that it's talked about too often?
See, I don‘t mind LGBT people at all. I‘d say, like most people in our society i don‘t care about them. The reason i seem annoyed is exactly what you said - it‘s too present everywhere currently. If it was only an online-thing, or something which stays in their representative space, which totally needs to exist! No problem.
But somehow these LGBT topics found their way into everyday normal life, which, for me, doesn‘t make any sense because it actually concerns, idk 1-2% of our population. Companies - also many furry artists! make lots of money with all you have to do is put a rainbow on your products. It appears so artificial, like a big money grab, ungenuine and fake.
i‘ve only been to CSD once in my life, 10 years ago but even then i was kinda shocked how openly kinky and sexual it was… it seemed more like a big kinky party - fun! But why make it public, for children to see, make society think that THIS is what being gay or transsexual is about.
If i hadn‘t met so many sweet gay and trans people in my life before, my opinion about LGBT wouldn‘t be ‚i don‘t care‘ anymore but a strong dislike, not because they exist really, but because they seem to push their way of living on me altough they’re the clear minority, and everyone is even cheering for them, because if you don‘t, it‘s against the current social expectation. (Ungenuine). So to say i‘ve actually only had good or neutral experiences with the LGBT people i’ve met in the past, which i‘m very grateful for.
There‘s more i could say about that topic but for now i‘ll leave it on that. I hope i was able to articulate my way of thoughts properly!
why do you think there are so few straight women furries?
Maybe it has something to do with furry being a generally very open space for sex and kink and that‘s usually more popular within (gay) men? Maybe women feel scared of exactly that - mainly men, many of them openly horny and kinky, in 1 space. Medias mostly negative presentation of furries for sure doesn‘t help either.
I personally never had a problem with anyone in my local community that i‘ve met so far but i‘m always very happy when i‘m not the only woman (doesn‘t matter if she‘s a lesbian, bi or straight). Especially for newcomers it might be intimidating being the only woman around 50-100 men…
What are your pronouns?
i'd be pretty offended if you couldn't guess based on my profile info and my fursona's look :b
(jk i wouldn't be offended but i'm a woman!)
How does one get publicity as an artist ?
being authentically you and drawing exactly what's fun for YOU and not for everybody else. if there's one thing the furry fandom taught me, it's that there is a market for literally anything you can think of, no matter how weird it is.
keep going and enjoy the progress. of course it's more fun if you have more fans but that shouldn't be your first priority imo. i'm not exactly famous either but that was never my goal anyways. i just enjoy drawing and sharing my ideas to likeminded people
When did you first start getting into drawing furry artwork? And did you draw a lot before that?
i think it was around 2015-2016 when all this furry-business started.
and yes, i've been drawing all my life. i've technically had fursonas all my life, starting at age 7 or 6 even. in 2009 i started drawing digitally and therefor taking it all more "serious". i drew tons of Pokémon content, switched to mostly human-artwork, OCs and loots of fanart (Supernatural, Doctor Who, the Beatles, anything i enjoyed as a teen) until i switched to Furry which i still enjoy the most!
You can btw purchase the entire collection of my digital art from 2009-2019
(except the NSFW stuff ;3) over my ko-fi :-3
What are your hobbies besides being a furry?
i like to do yoga, go for runs, biking, hiking, swimming and i also really like gardening, cooking and baking. i also enjoy reading books (historical novels especially) and sometimes i still play videogames (mostly chill things like stardew valley but one of my favourite games are RDR II or witcher 3)
What's your darkest secret you haven't shared yet?
there's a reason why i haven't shared the darkest ones yet and i'd like to keep it that way...
but i'll tell you something else instead: i used to be a real spiteful kid. whenever someone else did something wrong or had bad luck happening, it was funny to me B) but...when it was me who did something wrong well... i cried in like 0,1 second hahahah
