we don't know for sure, and my memories are hazy when it comes to game campaigns, but i know as per the Road to 10th revival campaign, this isn't the first time the 5th Anniversary (and i think maybe 6th?) cards were revived... so it's likely that they'll come back in a revival again eventually i think?

i phrased in the last answer that it was from "reminiscence" perspective; i apologize if it was unclear, but it's as if the characters are "looking back"; meaning that it is made based off the eccentrics as they were in ! era (after the war) as they reflect upon those memories. the illustration was created accordingly. that is why kanata has short hair in the illustration, and why rei sings in his usual tone in the song (and not his 2nd year tone)

but unfortunately, there's no evidence that there was a reunion that actually took place back then and no evidence that they ACTUALLY ever sung or recorded such a song. if anything, they avoided performing as the five eccentrics while attending yumenosaki as to not bring up sentiments from the war.

they DID get to have a reunion however during OO, in Altered! but they performed as Altered and their associated song is Twilight Pentagram.

as far as we know, eccentric party night is not real! unless they performed it at OO which we'd have no way of telling (lol) i believe it exists solely for the fans and exists solely as what could have been. i think people have theorized it might have been written/composed in natsume's original proposal, but i believe all that's been attested to have been inside it is just the plan for fine and the eccentrics to face off and turn the tides.

from what i remember, the original mix was made from a "reminiscence" perspective, as a spiritual nod (and gift to the fans) to the existence of the five eccentrics back then. that is why rei sings in his usual tone and not his 2nd year tone!

the reminiscence selection mix was remade for the element anime, as the MV accompanying it (while not real) would portray them in their 2nd years. special thanks to rei's VA (toshiki masuda) for insisting on the vocals being re-recorded

hmm revenge is such a broad word... i'm definitely a lot more sympathetic with natsume when it comes to exfine and the eccentrics. i think natsume's feelings towards them are justified and i like reading him be sharp towards them. this is just sort of a spilling of feelings, sorry if it's hard to read, but...

if by 'the revenge he should have proceeded with' you mean him taking the stage as the five eccentrics during the war, i mostly share similar worries as his niisans... i worry that it might've stoked the fire in a way where emotions would have run higher than ever and somehow bite the eccentrics in the back, i worry that it'd result in a division within the school that would've pitted the sides against each other, i worry that it'd result in more actual death within the school... i don't agree that its the ending that the eccentrics deserved, and believe at that point they were beaten into a corner that they didn't have much choice fighting back in, and that what ex-fine did was still forgivable. but i understand wataru and i understand rei when they were concerned about what would happen if they pulled through it... like in natsume's head, he was convinced that it'd be a full turnaround and that everyone would be able to understand and love his niisans, but i think the result would've been a lot more complicated knowing how cruel life tends to be

Altered goes a little into natsume's his feelings regarding his revenge and trying to unearth what he truly wants. and it's shown that above all his feelings of hatred and revenge, what he wanted most of all is to be able to stand up for themselves alongside his niisans and perform alongside them. and OO was able to grant him that privilege at last, which helped him see the rest of his feelings with clearer eyes

so i'm really glad that something positive and warming was able to come out of it; something more meaningful than what revenge would have had. but while i'm so glad that natsume found some closure regarding his feelings, i still don't think that it means natsume should forgive ex-fine or ever antagonize them ever again... like i'm still here being like "i hope to god that altered got to win against fine-O LOL". i don't think OO made things "even", and i don't like that being the takeway from the event ...

but i think in the end, i'm not sure if i want natsume to get a cruel or violent "revenge", mostly because i think the feelings of his niisans mean a lot to him and his niisans do not wish for a devastating revenge and do not intend to inflict exfine & those associated with suffering.

tldr; i wish that he was able to perform eccentric party night alongside his niisans as the five eccentrics, but i still dont' know if going through it at that time would have been a good and safe idea for his sake

i like the idea of personal revenge though, where someone can get their "payback" in other ways; like for example, altered getting to show up fine-o in OO even if the audience doesn't truly understands what it represents. or for example, like rei said, prod at eichi's wallet if they ever need help with assets on a moment's notice LOL. the small hardships of atonement. there's been a lot of them here and there between the eccentrics and ex-fine, so i celebrate those as they come lol. do i still crave more? yes LOL

there was like... One chapter of a translation there that came out but i don't think there's any intention of it to be continued - TL by kaetchup https://kaetchup.tumblr.com/post/752018451447644160/ but otherwise i haven't seen anyone intending to TL it yet! adonis is one of the lesser produced characters (and undead TLs have always been in a tough spot) so it's hard to tell if or when one will come out ...

i can see why people would suspect ibuki might join akatsuki, given the fact they have a strong narrative link, but personally, i didn't come to the conclusion at all. ibuki identifies pretty distinctly okinawan and doesn't seem to have any interest in the (mainland) japanese identity. i just don't see why he'd have any interest joining akatsuki; tbh i find the way he behaves around akatsuki kind of... suspicious? but that's just me

there's also the whole thing that niceP recruited ibuki specifically because he shows promise solo idol. not to mention how poorly that'd look alongside souma and tetora's relationship w/akatsuki's recruitment... mix that with the fact there's literally nothing within the story that would imply ibuki joining the unit, and i just don't get it!

right now, i find the chance of it happening just so low i'm not letting myself fret about it, basically. all we've got is keito saying that there's something important he'd like to tell kuro and souma about ibuki, literally LOL

i don't think it's ever been mentioned in any stories or anything, but if it's anything, the Grand Piano office item shows that mayoi is able to play! can't attest to how well that means mayoi can play, but his line is "I played with all my love...♪" which is adorable ~

the only instance i can personally find eichi calling him "sakuma-san" is in Element, in the scene where he discusses who to make the five eccentrics with tsumugi. Element is the same story his appellation "sakuma-senpai" made its first debut, and eichi calls him consistently "sakuma-senpai" through the flashbacks in Checkmate and Altered too.

right now i wonder if it's one of the appellations he used before actually meeting rei...especially since in his 2nd year, when NOT speaking to rei, he'd consistently call him by "sakuma rei", and seemingly a bit hesitant to call him -senpai in that one chapter in Element (Even in Hell 3). keito uses "sakuma-san" to refer to rei, so eichi could've just pulled that from him.

but since his apparent meeting with him (as seen in Altered), he seems to consistently call him "sakuma-senpai", with opting to use his full name "sakuma rei" when speaking to other people.

i wondered if it was an error, but it sounds like you've found multiple instances of it, which im curious about! (but if it is an error, it's one they've doubled down, and even included in the voice acting for the event)

they interact in Love Letter and even have an entire chapter together (On and off 4) ! they've run into each other a couple times and seem to be on a similar wavelength since they both watch over those younger than them and observe and interfere. they sort of bond over having been mentors for the two in 2wink respectively and open little gifts that they gave to them for chocolat fes together.

ensemble square is brand new and did not exist during the war! the war occurred around two years prior to ES's establishment.

(rolls up sleeves) oh boy the cenotaph! ok so the full history.

the cenotaph is a little memorial stone that had been around yumenosaki academy for quite a while. it was located on the outskirts of the activity grounds.

it's quite old! it was erected a long time to mourn the passing of a beloved student. it has an inscription in latin that reads; "in memorial of our fallen star(s)".

come yumenosaki's war, which as you know, also resulted in a couple students passing by their own hand. this cenotaph was then adopted to be in memorial of all beloved students that had passed away. in memorial of our fallen stars.

among one of those students who passed was a student who really idolized arashi! they had told her that she was the most beautiful in the world and that they loved her. they ended up killing themselves, and arashi hadn't even picked up that they were troubled; they never came to her to talk about it or anything.

and so she goes to pray at the cenotaph from time to time. she'd imagine him and talk to him and it'd help lessen her burdens and her worries. it weights very heavily on her mind and it's why she's resigned herself to be more proactive reaching out to her friends and making sure they're okay and they feel heard!

unfortunately, it has since been removed as of the summer of ESY1. with yumenosaki's new management, they hoped to help clean up the image of the school, which included the fact that there were students ended up that killing themselves while they were attending.

i personally just looooove to draw yuuta's hair, cause i find the twin's side bangs + yuuta's bun a loooot of fun to draw haha. but i also really like to draw nagisa and himeru's hair a lot too :> i think nagisa's scratches the most artistic itch for me, i love how it cinches and waves.

hmmm kaoru's family... he has so many family issues so information about them are sort of spread across lots of stories... these are the ones that come to mind for me

there's some more scattered translations in addition to these, but it's really a case where each translator have maybe a handful of chapters TLd rather than a consistent one to read. while the ENGstars translation is pretty lacking, it is the only way to read the full story iirc...

we've tried to recoup a bunch of the wiki translations, but wiki TLs went down when we were midway through only the third installment, and even still it's very difficult reaching out to translators who are no longer active, so the chapters are limited
