COMPLIMENTS ABOUT STUFF I MAKE!!!!!!! Like. my pony town skins, my rentries, my art, etc i love to create stuff ive learned..............

My all-time favorite compliments are the compliments my students give me! I've had a few say I inspired them to study philology/history (or just switch their focus to the Humanities) which is wonderful. I'm incredibly happy to have breathed some courage into The Youth. You know, because the Humanities are oftentimes undermined, students' parents usually aren't fond of them! And I've had a lot of teens come to me in distress saying “I really like your class/History class/Art class but my parents want me to study [Engineering/Medicine/STEM]!” And I've always encouraged them to do whatever they want to do. My parents also pressured me to get into STEM, but I didn't and I couldn't be happier. And that's what I tell them!

In conclusion: My favorite compliment would probably be: “Thank you for encouraging me to be what I want to be”. (And also, receiving the “I want to be like you when I grow up”) literally makes me cry as well haha it's incredibly wholesome and I've gotten it as well... <3)

it brings me great joy when people don't gaf about my regression, or encourage it. im a ocmpliment whore but my regression is important to me, so it just means a lot that people don't mind it.

My heart has never been more soft than when someone tells me that I'm a safe & comforting presence for them. It means that I'm doing something right as a friend, & it motivates me to continue being that kind of person for all of them.

nothing specific comes to mind, but yesterday i showed part of my english assignment to my teacher and he was really excited about it

I think my favorite so far was when one of my high school teachers said he expected to see me in the news someday for doing something great. I still don't believe him, but for someone to think I would actually change the world felt like a big deal to me.

but that question is in the present tense, so I think the only way you could truly impress me with a compliment is to come up with something that is (a) new and (b) just on the edge of believability

a lot of grand compliments i've received can never compare to that one time when someone said they genuinely think im a nice and sweet person

it's not my appearance nor my skills that's being praised, but i'm appreciated for who i am. and SNIFFLES. it still feels too big for me to accept that compliment. i crode over it for days. cause damn do you really think that my personality alone is enough and worth complimenting? my heart will explode
