all of the Spanish literary history facts I know are pretty niche and interesting... i'll say something else though: Franco, the Spanish nationalist dictator that would rise up through a coup d'état in 1936, was rumored to have multiple clones of himself? I don't know why, it was just a prevalent rumor at the time. Also, he had a pretty funny voice!

i, too, am caught up on the canon Lorca/Dalí say gex. moreover i'm even more caught up on the fact that Lorca TOPS in bed 😭

i wrote about my interests at /spaniard because i knew for a fact that URL would get reclaimed SO fast if i didn't use it and i really want to keep it. anyway go check it out it's not exhaustive or anything but i can tell rentry it took me more than 30s to make.

i translated the 5 poems but then had to go out and forgot. my notebook at home. hellllll... i'll have to wait until i can get back to transcribe and paste them...

writing whatever while listening to music is insanely relaxing and i don't even know why. it's like. entrancing...

i do want to translate more Aleixandre but he's so dense... I can only work with him and his fancy lingo if I'm really in the mood.

I suppose I based the color scheme around the portrait of Lorca i have as my profile picture... It's not really "themed" otherwise I suppose, but i did make it match on purpose! And the little clock i have on the corner of my profile is also a reference to Dalí, so. maybe around those two.
