Go on the swings! My lord, I love swings. And if there's any sort of toy whose essence can be summarized in "spinny thing", that I like, too. I like swinging and spinning around, I suppose! I think I'll never get tired of it, regardless of my age. I don't do it much nowadays and mostly just sit on whatever bench there is to journal/write/translate/whatever — which is still nice! — but I do love swings a lot...

okay officially goodnight! i'm feeling good overall tonight. i think that was my sign to chill the fuck out haha. i'll take it easy these days. doing cool things is nice but sometimes relaxing is nicer.

i played some rdd2 and it's good. it's not my usual game style but a friend recommended it to me and it's fun! i just have to get used to all the systems and stuff. i put on some YouTube in the background and it was decently relaxing. i'm going to continue translating the poem i left off — it's really long, it'll take me a bit — and maybe finish it if i'm lucky. i feel relatively sleepy already so if the time calls for it i'll head upstairs and doze off.

i'm feeling much better now. :) i think i just need to get outside more haha. i've been so swept up with research that i don't remember the last time i hung out with actual friends and not family or colleagues.

you know what, I'm actually going to play some video games. I feel like I deserve it given the circumstances of the last few nights. I think I just need to disconnect.

Camus it is for today because I don't fancy a novel and my e-book is charging so all of my beloved poetry has been put on hold. i actually forgot i had a physical copy of Camus' The Rebel: An Essay of Man in Revolt (the title in Spanish is much simpler, oh my god...) but my friend gifted it to me for my last birthday, now i remember...

The perfume my parents got me smells really nice... I'm not even a big perfume person in general but dang. I mostly used my dad's old cologne until recently and I don't think I'll go back haha.
