since i was hyperfixated on hyunsung, i paid little attention to jisungs other relationships, or if i did, i viewed them with a platonic lense. i never had much of an interest in reading any jisung pairings other than hyunjin, seungmin, and binsung (my original top 4 bias list). i took a break from skz fandom and the group too — and when i came back just to write something silly i saw as something chansung would do, i think i just fell for chan really hard? and i usually otp my bias with my second favorite member. and because of that, i ended up paying more attention to chansung, started turning their relationship and their history and interactions over in my head more. and all of it really appealed to me. so there really was no "aha, im a chansunger now for this exact thing that happened in real life between them." it did start with me writing a fic for them, loving writing that fic, and falling really hard for chan.
