hey, thanks for the ask!! hope i haven't taken too long to answer you! I'll drop a few fun facts :3

1. phoebe's parents divorced shortly after she went missing, and her father is treated like the most obvious suspect by the investigators and public. He's able to get his name cleared but his reputation never quite recovers.
2. phoebe's mom misses her and feels personally responsible for the lack of information surrounding her whereabouts, but at the same time she never wanted a pup, so her feelings about phoebe being gone are very complicated.
3. katie started wearing "girl clothes" and asking to be called katie at a very young age, think single digits, with some outside influence/help that i will get into further with time :)
4. similarly to phoebe's home life, katie was never particularly close with her parents, and after moving out she doesn't give them a second thought. She suspects they don't care to think about her either.
5. Katie was Myspace famous in her teen years/early 20s, and that era is marked by her selling photos and meeting up with strange men in motel rooms, allowing her to live on her own and build a small amount of wealth until she got a big break years later with a very lucky crypto investment. Today, she lives in the same cramped studio apartment as her 20s, despite being able to afford to move anywhere she wants. sorry for the long post! this is all I'll reveal cause more would start to encroach on the story i wanna tell :3 thanks again for the ask!
