Backup singers next😳 Just having a live band has improved the acoustics so much and I love him harmonizing with himself but since he can't harmonize with another Kyungsoo singing live, backup singers would make the sound divine.
Do Korean performers usually have backup singers, though?
that's a good question, I don't actually know 🤔 I've rarely if ever seen them in kpop concerts I agree it would elevate some songs even more, particularly songs like ordinary days and I'm fine where backups are an integral part of the song structures - he definitely should consider them
the band is already a 1st step, I wasn't expecting him to bring one on board for the fancon - definitely wished for and expected one for the tour but this was a surprise I think some arrangements need some tweaks here and there (some of these cuts have way too much drum don't they, although I'm only speaking from fancams so who knows lol), but it's good practice!!! that's also why I'm so glad that he's promoting more now and even attending more concerts, he's building up some handy experience and a certainly useful, varied contact list

and yeah the other 3 are just very basic and forgettable imo - with the unique voice karina has on her I hope they won't just throw whatever they have left from the kai early-exo-tour-solo-perf-vault at her in the future, and I need something that showcases ningning's lower register a lot more!! winter on the other hand I feel gets to showcase the strengths of her voice more with this which is also why i particularly favour spark, she has a very sweet yet strong voice that works in suchhh a satisfying way with the song she's slowly finding her niche I think, I rly liked the work she did on supernova as well as illusion before that, whereas I used to find the yyj gimmicks very unflattering if not straight up grating on her the direction she's been taking lately is much better if you ask me

I'm a cc anon and I wasn't worried about him not having screen time, I was worried he wouldn't have time for extra singing on the side lol Screen time is irrelevant if the story and character are both well done. He was barely in Along with the Gods(he wasn't even a good guy exactly), but he stood out because of his acting.

Cause I wouldn’t say he was the closest to her during 100% days ( or maybe they were and we never really knew ) and she doesn’t seem to be following any of her other friends ( + why didn’t she follow him before ) or is there is any other explanation that doesn’t implicate me being delusional ?
no idea they obviously kept in contact as per her commenting his ig and having a nickname for him so I'd be inclined to say it's more in that continuity? maybe ksoo just now followed her and she followed back? idk I tend not to read too much into stuff like this tbh

Woobin and kwangsoo are more like surprise guest who surprised him as well. Not sure about CY considering he’s in Japan(?) but Idk if kyungsoo is the type to invite celebrities considering it is a fancon but as you said he is treating it like a concert so who knows. I’ve seen some actors and idols have guests in their fanmeetings but they were invited by the artists themselves

I don't understand why some dandanies are so bothered with the encore tickets. selling almost 20K in tickets for a fancon is not easy especially when you think of the high price compared to other acts ( although I understand that the expereince is that of a concert but it's still marketed as a fancon at the end of the day so i understand when non-fans don't want to spend concert prices on a fancon that many mistankingly think is just an intimate setting for him and fans cause that's the case for fancons anyway) but selling 98% of a 7k venue for three days is not easy and 20K is not an easy nor a small non impressive number so I still don't understand why people are so focused on them as if he has the full venue empty

the lightstick discourse, on both sides, is so ridiculously overblown. I had no idea this expensive, rarely used piece of plastic was so important for people. im kinda confused: do njs have an actual manager? was mhj their manager, creative director, and ceo? shouldnt a manager be helping the girls through everything theyve been through? like hanni's comment about the other hybe group's manager saying to ignore her, where was njs manager during this? i feel like a lot of these complaints would be taken more seriously by hybe if it was brought up by a non-artist adult i.e. a manager? why did hanni herself have to go to the ador ceo for a complaint?
I don't follow nj outside of their music but if I had to wager a guess then I'd say I don't see how they could even function without field managers maybe mhj herself limits their roles into purely logistical ones though I honestly would not be surprised to hear that with how freakishly controlling she seems to be 😵💫

What I got from watching Kdramas is that people labelled as managers in SK are road managers who can help and stuff but directors are more like the Scooter Braun type manager/agent. It's why Kyungsoo getting Nam Kyungsoo on his side early on has been great for him. This means NJ are really screwed without MHJ

I think the exos made their peace with the first fiasco, but after june this year you can already tell which members are done with each ohters. They kept peace before and even attended his concert, but this time suho clearly doesn't fùck around with cbx anymore and pcy seems to be trying to keep a good facade but it is not working and the cbkist are not helping their case. I feel like kyungsoo, being the least affected by their decision might be very unphased. kai is a mistery in my opinion. caus ehe was probably the one meant to leave with baek and not xiuchen but who knows what he actually think, sure enough he neither went to baekhyun concert and he's been very buddy buddy wit suho so that might hint to which side he is taking
