Sad that these q & a websites don't seem to last despite a seemingly organic demand for them. https://techcrunch.com/2013/03/15/formspring-the-pioneering-anonymous-qa-platform-is-shutting-down/

yeah it's annoying, neospring is my fourth crack at something like this, everything either closes down or gets enshittified beyond the ability to be useful

The enshitification is inevitable whenever a commercial site runs out of VC money. Retro and Neospring are both just some guy with a free software project paying for the infrastructure for a demo site out of their own pocket. Neither is especially sustainable. Retrospring was never really meant to be used by end users en-mass, you were meant to run your own and work on the project together. They shut it down when that didn't happen and it became a never-ending chore. There's zero long term plan I've seen for this site either. People have just started using it. There's federation support in rainbeam which would suggest the intent longer term is to support a network of independent sites rather than just this one. Running a big site like this is a liability and moderation nightmare so fondly anticipate number 5
