Thereās really no reason for so many people to be so upset, writers included. This is fandom and people make things not very fun. I get both sides. The writers arenāt writing Pulitzer winning books so why does it matter about tagging the dynamics like this is fanfic itās not that serious. That being said for readers if itās not tagged either donāt read it, wait for an awesome rec account or community to recommend it, or it can be searched in chrome. Now we have writers on the TL whining and readers whining and that is not necessary. Again this makes spaces not fun.
Fair if you think that way, anon, but personally, I understand why writers are frustrated. Iāve seen so many of them get harassed on their ccs, and a lot of these writers put a huge amount of time and effort into their fanfics. Itās serious when you invest that much work and energy into something.
Then donāt do it!!! Why do something then complain when it doesnāt have your intended results? The product is what they have control over, nothing else!!!!! While they shouldnāt be āharassedā they can choose to ignore things. Itās not the end of the world, thereās worse things going on honestly.
