Hello, Ren. Do you know some romance anime, "Kimi ni Todoke", "Sign of Affection", "Ao Haru Ride" and the new anime this season, "Yakuza Fiance" and "Nina the Starry Bride"? All are het romance series and I watch them (unwillingly) with my friends. See, now I'm at a phase where I can't enjoy het romance (especially if they're focus of the story), so while I watch, I always imagine if the femMC is a guy (sorry). I can't tell my friends that I don't enjoy them because my IRL friends don't know that I love BL & GL or any queer media. They said "I don't care if someone gay or lesbian or whatever but I'm not pro LGBTQ. Why can't they just be normal? And I don't want to read or watch anything queer." We live in anti-LGBTQ+ country so that's the norm (even my family like that) but I'm still sad can't be my self around them. That's why I love my online friends. Especially you, @riamuyumemi.
