I was surprised that A is the uke and B is the seme, like WHAT? REALLY?! (This is my first time read BL with seme who looked, talked, & acted like uke and vice versa...)

Can I ask something? My friend who is shoujosei lover told me that shoujo-BL is just as great as regular BLs and have longer stories. But when I read them, somehow I don't feel like reading BL (sorry, I know it's weird thing to say). What do you think? If a manga have canon m/m couples or romance between males, does it mean they're also BL? Some that I read are : Kieta Hatsukoi, Requiem of Rose King, Cruel God Reign, God Child, and Golden Days.

I vaguely remember having read some japanese web bl novels where some characters are actually explicitly stated as trans but 1. I can't remember what they're called and 2. they're poorly written and I probably dropped them

“love me for who i am” is classified as BL on mangadex, though the protagonist is nonbinary! regardless of if it “counts” as BL i think it would still fit the vibe (i know the artstyle starts…like that, i promise it gets better)

for under the trans umbrella, "boy meets maria" has a nonbinary (iirc) ml! and not sure if "shimanami tasogare" counts as a bl, but there are lgbtq+ supporting characters

Reading some of your tweets like, how you can't enjoy het romance, that's so REAL! I feel the same. As someone who grew up with my family in country where the right way to live is anti-LGBTQ+ , I loved het romance since young, until I fed up with it and found BL & GL media. Now, I can't enjoy m/f romance focused stories at all!

I started to read Polaris (volume 1) ^^ and I will say that even though I don't mind reading Student x Teacher stories (actually I have read similar storylines where the student is super insistent too) I'm very picky with this plot device, and I have read the first volume and it hasn't convinced me yet :c for example I didn't appreciate that Haga keeps jumping on Ayato without much consequence. Even though I felt like that I don't want to give up on Polaris, I was wondering where I can read or learn more about the series to see if I can buy this manga without the fear of not liking it (or you can rant about it too I don't mind spoilers)
