A bit of a geeky question but, as a D&D player, where are your witch gals powers from? Were they born with magic or is it like classic witches that made a pact with a different entity?

The witches of Candi's Coven are all born natural magic users and also study their craft. Their ancestors though were given their magic originally by the old gods, with names lost to time.
