This is so awful I’m so sorry I don’t know the situation at all so admittedly can’t say much, but this sounds like a really to be blunt scumbag thing to do. I don’t believe you’re over reacting I’d freak out too if something like this happened too me. I also don’t think you’re an unlikable person from what I’ve seen of you, you’ve always been kind. I was so nice to them I did NOTHING to ever offend them , I went out of my own way to make them ALL mods . I was only meant to promote three mods but felt bad leaving them all out so I promoted all five . I trusted all of them

I've had years of server-making experience on Discord & I've run tons of them , I never expected something like THIS to happen how long were they planning this WHY didn't they tell me 😭 I wouldn't have been offended if they were making a new server but they were very clearly trying to hide it from me
