Im personally a fan of magic that is with a capital 'M'. IE, its is unknowable, unexplainable and can't really be sus'd out like a science. No disrespect towards "magic systems" but that kinda thing feels like magic by way of science-fiction nerds. Alex is a witch insomuch that she's able to wiggle her fingers or throw a bunch of random shit into a pot and there's a big cartoon explosion and now someone's dick is the size of a horse.
