HELLO LANGXIOOMF DO YOU. have any tips for a person who just got their first EVER ita bag <3 especially for someone who is BROKE and can't afford a lot of merch...

Hello dear Anonoomf! Congrats on getting your first ever ita bag! Woohoo have fun! I researched a lot about ita bags before I got my Hong Lu one so you’ve come to the right place, despite me being only a beginner and broke. I found that Sabrina’s videos are always helpful since she’s very experienced! Her bags are mostly official merch though…

I’d suggest making your own merch! I am in the process of designing some merch to gift to my boyfriend for Christmas and my best friend actually has merch of my art. This helps a lot as it’s cheaper to produce, especially if it’s for personal use, and if it’s for an obscure character with little merch. People tend to be gatekeepy about manufacturers (and for good reasons, they don’t want people to flood their manufacturers with orders) so I’d go for more popular ones like Vograce. You can find manufacturers on Alibaba, however, they might be accustomed to commercial use rather than personal use. The world of merch-making is surely… vast… Fufu, you’re lucky that I also researched a lot about merch-making.

If you can’t afford a manufacturer or don’t have art, I’d suggest making kandi bracelets and hanging them up with a keychain that fits the theme of your ita bag… Get creative with it! I literally just put random keychains (and even jewelry like necklaces) I found onto my Hong Lu ita bag for some extra style. You can also put stuff like lace, fabric, etc. in your bag for some more detailing. Think of it like a scrapbook or a collage!
