About Deshret's page, why is it using the current image (mural of bird-headed figure) rather than the "black eye" in his main character card (don't know the right term, sorry)? Is there any references to it or is it based on his goetic name and/or connection to Ra? Because to me the mural looks closer to Thoth/Ibis King (can be seen in Cyno's SQ2 cutscene). Statues in The Thousands of Entombed Chambers (viewpoint) mostly looks similiar to the mural, except its beak, looks to short for an ibis beak, kinda looks like falcon. Is this also consideration for his depiction?
Hi first anon!!!! There was a thread going on about this, mainly the point was that you can only find that depiction in the Mausoleum of King Deshret and it's consistent with the sarcophagus in the Mausoleum as well. We linked the thread, so pls give it a read :)
We actually would like to include the black eye on the page as well but we haven't gotten around to doing that lol, the past few days have stressed us out a lot unfortunately :( but that's neither here nor there
