05 Do you have any favorite tropes or relationship dynamics in media?

Hi leifyy!! Thanks for the ask ^^

What I like exactly is smth I can never define but things I KNOW for a fact I love and completely adore is Enemies to lovers & rivals to lovers in terms of dynamic!! I also really like best friends to lovers. But stepping away from romantic ones. Found family (specfically found siblings) means a lot to me. That and just about any dynamic with a trio is gold to me!

Now in terms of tropes: I really really like unreliable narrator's! That and fourth wall breaking when it’s done directly or indirectly. But I find that when it’s done it’s usually not in a way I enjoy, one game that breaks the fourth-wall that I do like is ddlc!

Anything revolving twins and siblings is a favorite of mine. Especially polar opposite twins!

I definitely share your love of enemies to lovers but recently I've found best friends to lovers more sweet and meaningful, especially if they were childhood friends. While I also love platonic connections, there is something wholesome about two friends who know each other well developing a different type of closeness. Like with is common with the dynamic, I do enjoy the tension and slow build up enemies to lovers have and maybe the internal conflicts that come with it. And I'm really happy you mentioned Found Family and a Trio??? My favorite show (One Piece) has both of those things at once and I absolutely adore that dynamic.

I really like unreliable narrators as well! I like that it adds a sense of mystery about the overall story and the narrator's intentions. What caused their unreliability, whether its purposeful or not, is also very interesting! For all the fourth wall breaking I've seen, its usually been used in a comedic sense, but I did enjoy the sense of dread it created in ddlc.

And I believe you know our shared love of twins! ^^ Thanks for your answers!!
