i love chiluc so much, they make me sick. Diluc is from Mondstadt who used to be part of the nights of Favonius before his 18th birthday when his father had used a Delusion to defeat Ursa the Drake which killed his father. Skipping a few details, Diluc went to Snezhnaya with said Delusion and WITHOUT his vision, to get revenge on the Fatui. If you know Childe's lore, he was sent to the Fatui at a young age and probably not much older or younger than Diluc, so it is LIKELY that rhey could've crossed paths at this point. There are so many possibilites at this point because Diluc could not recognise Childe as Fatui and they get a heart to hear, or Childe knows Diluc is wreaking havoc to the Delusion factories in Snezhnaya and wants to fight Diluc and then they FIGHT and nearly KILL EACHOTHER!!

What's makes me more sick about Chiluc is that, character-wise, they are SO SIMILAR BUT SO DIFFERENT. Diluc loves his family and nation, works hard, probably has anger issues, intelligent, but can be impulsive. Childe loves his family and nation, works hard, has some violence issues, and thrill-seeker tendencies which makes him impulsive... They are on opposing sides?? Diluc is against Fatui and Childe is a HARBINGER?? Did you know Diluc became Cavalry Captain at 14? Got his vision at 10? Childe is a child soldier, fell in the abyss as a young teen?? They're older brothers and feel guilty for what they've done to their family?? They complete each other yet contrast each other making a strange waltz of fire and water... They could kill each other, they could hold the other together, they can fall apart in each other's arms, BECAUSE ONLY THEY UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER!!!!! They are each other's foil and each other's mirror!!
