Are there past guitar virtuosos whose skills you would still consider elite today? Obviously there are players like EVH or Hendrix or Holdsworth but I'm curious to know if there are other guitarists from that era or even earlier that are still virtuosic by today's standards?

God damn I just check out Matteo Mancuso and he's doing some unique finger style stuff isn't he? I haven't really seen anyone play that way before unless it's some classical guitar stuff on the acoustic guitar but even then what he does is different
