are you particular about the clothes you wear or not? are your preferences more about the look of the clothes, or the textures/practicality?

As long as comfy and not that one disney princess bright gum pink every pink thing on stores is, I don't care...also as long as it isn't super duper metallic crap that can be seen from the Moon or something
EDIT: And I can't bear with those suoer scratchy labels in sweaters and pants
I'm very...50/50. I usually wear masculine clothes at home but when I go out to eat or something I wear feminine clothes. I do NOT wear dresses often due to me being forced to wear them so much as a child. And I'm kinda scared to have them because of my personal life heh...(It's nothing cringy or something trust) I do really like heels though. I don't wear anything fluffy though. I hate most fluffy things ๐ฑ
ITS COMPLICATED...... at home i just tend to wear whatever (unless i have to take it off because it makes me feel gross anD yucky and dysphoric) is comfortable so that would be textures i guess, but then in public i force myslf to look good, but not like necessarily good just to where i would pass off as more masculine and a dude, when i am dysphoric at home i change into something else that makes me feel better So basically gender dysphoria makes everything worse and it will vary on what option i feel
Interesting question. Honestly I'm divided? I am definitely particular about the clothes I wear to some degree... I can't stand it if a texture isn't right , if something feels uncomfortable on my body etc. But I also don't want to look awful. As in, clothes that don't look great at all even though they're comfortable. There has to be a even mixture of the two if that makes sense. Comfort + decent looking to put in short. Like, I don't care thatttt much about looking super duper nice, having the best stuff etc. That's not my number one priority. But I want clothing I feel great and confident in still.
It's hard to say since... As much as I need to be cautious of certain textures, how restricting the clothes are and the durability of the clothes, I like dressing up to look cool y'know? I have tried to sacrifice comfort over style a few times, but then chances are I'll be on cooldown after a while and wear whatever suits my comfort.
I guess my answer is more leaning towards style though!
textures forever... my autistic ass needs the right textures or i will die ๐ i do love the look of clothes though and i try to find comfortable ones that have good designs (for example i have this one shirt that i've had for years that is my all time favorite shirt and is super comfortable and doesn't give me any issues at it! it has a ribcage on it and i'm even wearing it right now :3), but unless i need to wear pretty clothes that are uncomfortable, textures will be my top priority
