. . . . . . . . . .
ok so when i was placed in inpatient for the first time i was like 12 and was pretty bad at masking and socializing in general (mental health shit wasnt helping) so i was easily taken advantage of in sexual and medical ways some doctors took interest in me and stuff
for you id say make sure to research where youre going andread articles / reviews of the place
make sure you appear calm and confident to nurses and doctors but try to be honest with psych people as thats why youre being evaluated in the first place always act like youre being watched (because you probably are) DONT piss off your roomate / nurses BRING EARPLUGS - at night you will NEED THEM because the fucking night watch people dont knwo how to fucking whisper
uhhh anyways lemme know if you want more details or advice or whatever^^
it depends on where ur going tbh . i was lucky enough to go to one with respectful staff and reasonable rules . if u know where ur going do research and know what to expect tbh . if u can , try not to get on anyones nerves , that saved me a lot of trouble
Oh, oomf, we're so sorry to hear that... usually, in the USA, they're really not good. But like Verity said, it all depends on the specific facility.
Hai! It all depends on where youre from and why you're going. I would look up the one you're going to and look at the reviews or posts.
