I made a small mistake in my original message and I couldn't figure out how to edit it, so here's it again with the mistake fixed
Okay, this is pretty simple to most chemists but im a stupid teen so :P.
currently I'm trying to solve the hydrogen wave function and I'm still learning about the fundamentals of chemistry, so it's obviously going to take me awhile. but I set a goal for myself to solve the equation by the end of my school year ๐๐. you may be asking what is a hydrogen wave function?
to my understanding (at least), it's a very very very long equation that helps you PREDICT the location of an electron. electrons move randomly and we don't know how to calculate one's exact location yet we just have mathematical equations to detect the probability of where they may be. we can only do this with hydrogen as of now because of how simple it is compared to anything else, here below is the equation

Oh, and are the dots around pfps on your page supposed to be like lewis dot diagrams? That's what came to mind when I saw them :)
Ah I was wondering why when I clicked the notif neospring gave me a 404 ๐ that is way too much math omg, I think I'd die if I tried to solve that :sob::sob: I wish you all the best in your endeavor to solve your chemistry equation. Good luck soldier o7 And thank you for the compliment as well :)
