I understand your fear, but your feelings matter whether you believe it or not! If you're feeling down at any point, it's always good to ask to vent anyway? There's no harm in doing so. And whether the answer is yes or no, at least you tried! I can say with full confidence that I'm someone that's happy to listen to you, or anyone, venting whenever you need it. ^^
