my old spotify says the first bts song i ever liked was I NEED U on feb 9, 2017 🥹 i remember, very vividly, thinking about going to a HYYH concert in the summer of '17 (and really wanted to go!) but i didn't have anyone i knew who was also into BTS so :( that was also kind-of-ish the era where i was complaining to an acquaintance that save me was only available on youtube/some of their other albums were named in korean on spotify, taken off for a while, and then reuploaded later with all english titles. i was in a drought for a bit but i looped save me on youtube..... a lot... and went through a ton of bangtan bombs over the summer.

my Real Taekook Moment was this very, very specific squeeze but this was before i got into fic, though i'm going to be so real--i did not know rpf existed before bangtan. i'm 99% sure i was on tumblr looking at edits, saw jimin's name in a fic, went "you can ship real people???" and..... tada, here i am. thank you tumblr-link-to-ao3-rabbithole.
