admittedly, im a prophet and kinda just. know colour theory (i learned it from using ponytowns pony creator and some day it just like randomly clicked in my head i guess?)

i tend to try and keep a lot of colours on the bluer-greener side of the colour wheel because i prefer those bluer shades! i like to shade in complimentary colours (i.e. if I'm shading something that is red, I will make the light shading more yellowish-orange, and make the darker shading more purple-magenta). but thats like. basic colour theory skills nothing toooo crazy

I also use a shitton of overlays and mess with colours on separate layers! jus play around and have fun. I like to use really bright neons for my overlay colours (i.e. neon dark blue) adn stuff because I think it helps saturate and make the characters pop out a bit more.

Do not ask me how i figure out palettes for my ocs because i think i do it by selling my soul to satan
