Ok I know you like gross questions, so here's one: why do everyone else's farts smell nastier than mine?
YES, THANK YOU, GROSS QUESTIONS ARE THE BEST
So we have a few hypothesis on this topic, let me tell you about the one that sounds more convincing so far: basically, because they're yours! Feeling disgusted to some body fluids or products is an instinct that protects us against potentially infectious bacteria and/or viruses. Our inmune system does not only consist of our body's cells (like white cells), but also the bacteria that grows all over our bodies: inside our intestines, on our skin, inside our vagina, etc... Those populations of bacterias and archaeas are extremely important in our health and our body recognizes them (in fact, we interchange genes with them!). But... What about other people's?
Since we don't know if other people are carrying bacterias or viruses that could be harmful to us, feeling disgusted towards their body fluids is a way to prevent disease - but wait, there's more! Did you know that parents find way less disgusting to change their babies' diaper rather than other people's babies? They are even able to tell whose is their babies just by the smell. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE - We are not born with this population of bacteria in our bodies, so we slowly build it by being in contact with our parents or family members, meaning this isn't fully explained by genetic components. In fact, if you spend time with other people, maybe living in the same place, working, eating... Your bacterial populations will look more and more similar as time passes, and isn't it much more likely to be disgusted by a stranger's body fluid rather than friends and family? Well, there you have one very likely reason.
SEE??? GROSS QUESTIONS ARE SO INTERESTING AND COOL. THERE YOU GO.

HUH. so if even if my partner's body fluids etc disgust me does that mean my immune system is Very Efficient? (kinda joking but kinda not) (i'm another person btw)
