i think if you want to put one of the esupuris as your profile picture you should just go for it. have fun! do what makes you happy! i'm not particularly invested in them myself (yet?, due to not being super invested in younger characters in general) but i'm seeing a lot of hype and excitement for them, so there is a part of the fandom that already adores them sooo much & it's not just negativity. don't be afraid to express your joy and love for them ♡

Maybe when the esupuri event comes along, which is confirmed to happen this year. I get the not being invested in younger characters stuff, the more you grow up the less relatable they seem, huh…? Kanna’s turning thirteen in !!! era, at least, and they’re probably going to have an interesting narrative surrounding their age and what it means to debut as an idol when you’re so young.
