As someone going to an art class to get good at art rendering is hard even with multiple years under your belt, I'm someone who's been drawing since I could hold a pencil as well
It does get a bit easier after multiple studies and illustrations with the same/similar process, knowing how lighting and colour works helps as well
Sorry for the little ramble haha not letting those hours of suffering because of rendering go to waste
