I started to read Polaris (volume 1) ^^ and I will say that even though I don't mind reading Student x Teacher stories (actually I have read similar storylines where the student is super insistent too) I'm very picky with this plot device, and I have read the first volume and it hasn't convinced me yet :c for example I didn't appreciate that Haga keeps jumping on Ayato without much consequence. Even though I felt like that I don't want to give up on Polaris, I was wondering where I can read or learn more about the series to see if I can buy this manga without the fear of not liking it (or you can rant about it too I don't mind spoilers)
oh yeah, vol 1 really is just a BIG facade for everything. like, it's really so much more than what the surfaces has. imo kosei acting like That is really what makes his development so much better than if he wasn't. he's really a good guy!! one of my fav characters now really. i wanna squeeze him sooo much. anyways ahem without spoilers, polaris is a story about grief and how it can affect you and the others around you! which is totally not something you'd expect from the first volume haha. i'll be posting my version of ch. 6 hopefully before the officials but then i'll have the drop it there bc of that so 😔 but!! i can always rant a lot more. it's just really so so so so so much more than what it seems like on the surface so please pull through...!! if you read other kashima works you'll probably know what i'm taking about haha
