Due to Neospring not really being designed for posts (without a question) or chats, I've decided to help cut down on some of Neospring's bloat by removing posts (without a question) and chats from the site.
On May 9th, new posts will no longer be able to be created, and chats and their messages will be entirely removed. Existing posts will still be visible, but new ones cannot be created.
I hope you'll at least consider moving to our replacement, Tetratto, if you'd like to continue using that functionality. https://tetratto.com
Tetratto's posting and chatting already has more features than that of Neospring, and should feel very familiar.
This was a tough decision to come to, but the technical debt added by the lacklustre design (2 >6k line database files, as compared to Tetratto's multiple <600 line files) of the Neospring backend and these extraneous features is really slowing down the site.

I guess that sounds better than Neospring trying to be every type of social network at once. Just let this place resemble formspring / askfm, and not those things + twitter + tumblr + facebook.
